Sikhs making a parody of themselves!

I have always maintained that Sikhs are the most pampered minority in the world. This especially when they claim to be a different religion. In reality they are not a minority, considering that they are a sect of larger Hindu canvas ! Anyway, they are a pampered lot is well exhibited in the way they were allowed to run around many cities with naked swords in hands and invectives oozing out of mouths.

The recent controversy that erupted between Gurmat RamRahim Singh of Dera Sacha sauda and the Akali's, in which Sikhs with nacked swords took to the streets against the Dera chief' dressing gimmick. I am not advocating the political gimmicks of Dera chief, but could the Sikhs tell anyone as to how they know Guru Gobind Singh ji dressed? As the pictures, paintings and photos are banished in Sikh cult, and there is no record depicting the sartorial likings of the great guru, what is the basis of the entire ruckus that the Sikhs are raving about?

All the pictures of the Gurus are based upon the paintings made by Mr.Sobha Singh, who was kicked out of Sikhism by no less than SGPC! The deviations between the real image and the imaginations of Sobha Singh can be compared by placing the real painting of Guru Nanak is shown here, it is a copy of ther one that is placed in Moti mahal palace in Patiala and the one painted by Sobha Singh, and the difference becomes clear?

For me, I feel Nihangs are the one's that copy Guru Gobind Singh the most, at least in displaying their sartorial likings. Why are they being allowed to do so? Another person who seems to look close to Guru Gobind Singh is Shivaji? Why hasn't any Sikh of any intellect raised this issue or spoken about this display of lunatic behavior by Sikhs in Punjab and elsewhere?

Katrina, the wrath of God!

I had written this on On 15/10/05, I am posting this over here now.

Irfan Husain, a leading columnist who writes in "The Dawn newspaper of Pakistan, in his article "Challenge and response" dated 15.10.05, writes ".... In the wake of Hurricane Katrina, many Pakistanis were convinced that the disaster that flooded New Orleans was an act of God aimed at punishing America for attacking Muslim Afghanistan and Iraq..... ."

How about accounting the recent natural calamities in Asia; the earth quakes in Turkey, Iran, Afghanistan-Pakistan,Gujarat, The Tsunami and now earthquake in J&K and Pakistan. Would any one inform those pigeon minded bigots of Pakistan that in all the above, the wrath of the God really fell on Muslims, as that was the most-struck community in all these disasters. His wrath has fell upon them for looting & killing innocent people and harbouring & supporting those who do all those acts!

Imagine the kind of indoctrination this population has undergone ? It certainly needs generations of poisoning to turn normal humans into Genetically Rabid Islamic Morons (GRIM), who can not even see a natural calamity without the green Islamic goggles. Pakistan hardly needs atom bombs to ruin the Earth, it just needs to let loose those GRIMs on the rest of the world- And there would be just Muslims and pigs left in the world!!!

Is there any 'secular' mind that has courage to speak about it? Any TV channel that will debate this on a show? Any 'politically correct' newspaper that will take it up on the front pages? Any Imam who would call this attitude un-Islamic(if it really is)? Any Sikh, any Hindu, any Catholic, any Commie.......any one???

I am sure even YOU, would not react!!
