The woman in the painting is Zai-un-Nissa, the eldest daughter of Aurangzeb Zeb-un-Nissa (painting is housed in the Metropolitan Museum of Art(U.S).The robe she is wearing is a Turkish robe, stitched in Indian muslin fabric. 

The second caricature is that of Alladin, from Arabian nights, dressed in the uniform of Eunuchs and women of Turkish Harems, the Harem pants or soothan/suthna, from which is derived the salvar-kameez(third picture).

The Faiz Cap (picture four) that one used to associate with gentlemen Muslims till as late as early was a Turkish cap.....even the tall Karakul cap that Poet Galib would wear is a Turkish cap, Galib would call himself Turk, not Arab. Even Tulsidas, Rahim & Kabir used expression Turk and not Mussalman.

 So what remained a Turko-Persian dominated religion for nearly 1300+ years has suddenly taken a transition to become An arabic Religion. My stomach begins to tickle when I see people of this subcontinent dressed in long white Arabic Kurta, the Thob or Thawb and even Keffiyeh hear scarf on their head.And as this grew, the 'Religion of Peace' proportionally

began to be associated with violent terrorism. As if Wahabism was Arab rebound to centuries of Turko-Persian suppression.

And then we hear, there is no room for change. Well actually, we should hear it as 'There is not enough money for us to change, pour it like the Arabs do,

we'll even change the colour of out blood'.
